How to Get Motivated When You Feel Like Giving Up
It's difficult to get motivated when you feel like giving up. It's easy to lose inspiration when the world around us crumbles to our feet. Your dreams are crushed. You're alone. Your hopes and dreams have imploded.
You feel as if you have nothing
You feel as if you are nothing
Life is not worth living.
Trying to breathe is hard enough.
Trust when I say, I've been there.
I too, have found myself in a darkness where only ending my life seemed like the best solution. I've been there on a few occasions. So, trust me again when I tell you, there is no magic wand to take you back in time and fix all the things that went wrong. Life is not designed that way.
Yes, some people's suffering are worse than others.
But, we all have the power to change our current life. We have to make the first step. Even if it's the smallest of step. One move, one choice creates a momentum ofchange that can make us unstoppable.
Doesn't that sound better than lounging around depressed and feeling sorry for yourself?
You're probably wondering how does it happen? What do you have to do to finally feel motivated again?
It starts with acceptance.
Yep. That's it. Simple.
Acceptance for you, for life, for your circumstance, for the choices that you made, for the people you've hurt, for the people who've hurt you, for everything. Look at the options in front of you. Look at your future? Do you really want to remain in a slump while the rest of the world goes on with their life?
Do you want to look back weeks, months or years from this moment and regret all the time you spent feeling sorry for yourself?
Well, start with acceptance.
Accept life sucks sometimes, and that's okay.
Build your life, bit by bit from right here, right now. Piece by piece. Heartbeat by heartbeat.
Only then, can you begin to move on with your life.
Anyway, that's my advice. You have a choice to take it, or stay an unmotivated bitch who blames everything on everyone else.
